Website Rebranding : London Doctors Clinic
London Doctors Clinic (LDC) is an integrated healthcare provider that offers online services, such as GP consultations, health checks, vaccinations, prescriptions, referrals and much more. LDC has become a part of the Spire Healthcare Group, the UK’s largest private hospital group by turnover.
LDC decided to rebrand its website to align with Spire’s brand identity, to refresh its online presence and to improve the user experience.
Active Webdezign handled the rebranding project. We collaborated closely with LDC to understand their needs, preferences, technical constraints and expectations and deliver a high-quality, performance optimised website that meets their requirements.
We followed the tailored process consisting of four stages:
- Pre-QA: The developer built the site and moved it to a staging site, where we verified that all the pages and templates followed the new brand guidelines.
- QA: We moved the site to a quality assurance environment, where we checked the site again and shared it with the client for their feedback.
- UAT (User Acceptance Testing): We moved the site to a user acceptance testing environment, where we made sure the performance of the rebranding site is optimised, updated the CMS and all the plugins and ensured that the website met the client’s requirements and expectations before final release.
- Production: We released the website to the live instance, followed by post-release checks and on-going support to the client..
We rebranded the website using the latest web technologies and frameworks. As a part of the various checks, Active Webdezign ensured that the website was compatible with different browsers, devices, and screen sizes, and that it followed the web standards and best practices for security, performance, and SEO. We tested the site extensively, using various tools and methods and solicited feedback from the client when necessary and ready.
The client was satisfied with the outcome and the rebranding was a success as evidenced by their positive feedback, top performance scores on both Mobile and Desktop and stable SEO ranking.
